She Paints the Life She Made

She spends her days just bending light
On canvas that once was white
She puts on her favorite tune
And paints her dreams in red and blue
She’s filled with such gratitude
Because she once dreamed of this life
Not everyday is so great
somedays
she trudges through the rain
No matter what we do
We can not avoid such days
These days
we can not shake the grey
Run and breath in the air
You can smell the rain
but it wont rain today
