comiserating on the politics of men
I know life can be complicated
with a million shades of gray
But you’ve always helped to simplify
what goes on inside my brain
you taught me
life is all about
knowing wrong from right
and never ever waste your love
on those who want to fight
you must know that I have listened
but as always I took my time
some things
we must

through
and learn by
living life
Now with my
own children
I Know must always be kind
