Another one from the lockdown. This is all about the distance we are all feeling right now, My mind is a flood of memories and fear, my wife lost her job, I got put to half time, our government is a joke. All kinds of reasons for people to drink and stay high, but that shit dont work for me and its all about getting past the mind-fuck that is fear. Been married to my girl since 1999, and we have worked through some shit, kids, jobs, deaths and health issues.
But this is a crazy kinda shit we have never seen, personally, so we just deal with it like I did my 1st of my 13th back surgeries, or how panicked I was about my first kid, the unknowns are real, but you all made it through every first trauma. So fuck it, be real about how you are feeling, write a song so you can say what it is you fear, and then let the fuck go of that shit. So shit is crazy-beyond measure, and we need to know what we can and can not control, or fear will take over our minds. Peace be with you and may we lose as few people we can. The Earth is some serious shit, its not all MALLS and CAFEs, sometimes its all about just surviving the evil of the day that is here and now.
