So, just like you I've been inside, missing everyone, thinking about what a lesson of interconnection this all is to us. To me, I look at a common, free, healthcare system as the first defense of a nation. Then when you connect that idea to the world, its easy to see this idea should be a global one, not just a national idea. We all need help and I know we are not doing enough to help each other, not everyone of us, some do nothing but sacrifice to others, but a collective just needs to change its priorities to change its course. I live in the United States and the private healthcare we have supported cant support the homeless, and the poor are very unlikely to seek care even when it can be found in the bureaucracy. I know you all know it, but now its not an abstraction, we can see out health is built on the collective health and welfare of all others; we are a colony and we need to take care of each other, not create weapons in space. It's true, we are making weapons in space a priority and we see what happened with a simple virus. We spend half of every tax dollar on defense and we can't get our shit together to help each other right here and now. So the states bypass the feds and its all such a mess, and that comes out of not really taking the health of others as our own health. We are one planet, we must see that or we are doomed like the dinosaurs.
