Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a very common hormonal condition that approximately 12–21% of women of reproductive age are diagnosed with however; what is most concerning is that up to 70% of women remain undiagnosed. For this reason it is important as women to increase our awareness and knowledge on PCOS.
So, today on Meditalk I speak with Gynaecologist, Obstetrician and Advanced Laparoscopic surgeon Dr Rose McDonnell from St John of God Hospital in Subiaco about PCOS.
A big thank you to Dr Rose McDonnell for sharing her knowledge with us today on Meditalk.
