Description

Artist Mariam Ghani discusses her artwork, "A Brief History of Collapses," which, as she describes, looks at “history from the perspective of two buildings” that are located in Kabul and Kassel. Ghani talks about her research and creative processes, including a complex “story map,” along with the production of the work—storyboarding, tracking shots, non-linear narration, music score, and editing. She describes installations of the work, as well as translations and how the work resonated with people in Kassel and Kabul.
