Description

Art historian Robert Rosenblum discusses the unexpected relationship between Cubism and Pop art, asserting that the comparison can be traced back to the Guggenheim exhibition "Joan Miró: Magnetic Fields" (1972–73), which featured Miró’s works from the 1920s and the 1960s. According to Rosenblum, the exhibition demonstrated that “all new works of art drastically change, especially if they are important works of art, our perceptions of the past.” This event took place on May 4, 1976.
