Description

The work of Vietnamese-born, Danish artist Danh Vo brings themes of capitalism, colonialism, and religion together with intimate personal narratives—what he calls “the tiny diasporas of a person’s life.” “Danh Vo: Take My Breath Away,” on view at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum February 9–May 9, 2018, is the first comprehensive survey of Vo’s work in the United States.

In these tracks, the artist discusses some of the artworks on view and offers insights into his creative process. Katherine Brinson, Daskalopoulos Curator of Contemporary Art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, narrates.
