Darius Syrossian's latest release goes right back to his roots. The Mancunian DJ and producer's new two-tracker, ‘Beetham Tower’, features field recordings of a storm that battered his hometown earlier this year. Syrossian uses the howling wind as a percussive backing, channeling the elements into a blustery techno number.
According to Syrossian, who also serves as an A&R for label and Ibiza party Do Not Sleep, the track was made with Manchester’s Warehouse Projects in mind. Naturally, it’s an energetic, big-room number that’s likely to sweep you off your feet.
