Rising house and techno star Kris Davis returns to Needwant after his highly sought after remix of Ashworth on the Needwant — and we’ve got premiere of Davis' caustic new single, ‘Delta’.
Having burst on the scene in 2014 with first EP, 'Closer', on Subjekt Recordings in 2014, since then Davis has picked up support from the scene’s leading lights including Maceo Plex and Hot Since 82.
For his latest endeavour, Davis delivers two cuts of clup weaponry, the release's a-side, ‘Delta’, is dripping full of suspense as the jangling chords rub shoulders with rugged basslines, and then protracted builds and sweeping filters only heighten the track’s impact.
Whilst the b-side offers some 9-minutes of copper-bottomed techno as Davis makes a real statement of intent on his club credentials.
