Illyus & Barrientos hit Cr2 later this month (29th July) with a huge remix of Michael Mandas & Forbes’ ‘Really Love’, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere of it.
The pair first caught the attention of the Macs and Tongs of the world with their ‘Need Me’ EP on Glasgow Underground last year, before going on to see releases through Suara, Toolroom and Exploited Records already in 2016.
For their remix of ‘Really Love’ Illyus & Barrientos employ skittish percussion with heavy kicks, wallowing basslines and sparing use of the original’s vocal track.
