We’re back for another edition of the Basing House Mix Series and this week the focus is on Fak3 Music.
Fak3 Music is house music record label based in London with their first release dropping in 2017. They then quickly followed this up by throwing events to champion their sound.
Having previously hosted nights at Egg London and Work Bar, amongst others, Fak3 Music’s first event at Basing House came in late 2019 with headliners Ellie Cocks from Abode and Aaran D from Solid Grooves. It was their 2nd Birthday, the venue reached capacity early and It’s safe to say that they duly smashed it. We quickly offered them a home and with their next event headlined by Pat Wilson & Emma Knight, it was more of the same.
Keeping their foot on the gas they then locked in Sorley from Repopulate Mars and Defected for a sadly now postponed event, although we will get this back in the diary once we get the green light to reopen.
Fak3 Music have provided us with two mixes. The A:Side is from resident Technite, who stays true to his roots with a bouncy energetic vocal house mix. The B:Side, where we ask for something a little different and off piste, is by resident Wantz, who has put together an uplifting disco house mix perfect for sunny afternoons
