Glenelg’s Liam Mackie admits there are some uncanny similarities between himself and his cousin, Geelong premiership defender Andrew Mackie.
Similar in size and stature, the Mackies also play across half-back and boast penetrating kicks.
Speaking on SANFL Radio, Liam also noted their draft year has also been incredibly similar, given they both missed out on selection with the McDonald’s SA U18 team while playing spending the majority of their campaign with the Tigers and Sacred Heart College.
