SANFL stalwart John Lyons will close the curtain on his outstanding 31-year administrative career with the organisation on Friday.
Starting his journey with the SANFL as its Financial Controller on May 21, 1985, Lyons – currently the Chief Operating Officer – quickly found out he was also the Stadium Manager at Football Park.
Speaking on SANFL Radio, Lyons revealed he wasn’t initially informed about the Stadium Manager element to his role during the interview process.
