Hosted by Jane Wernette, the latest episode of Spotlight features:
1) Jeanine Nicarico Memorial Fund for Literacy, All proceeds go directly to the Jeanine Nicarico Memorial Fund for Literacy to acquire and distribute resources that provide enriched literacy opportunities for the learners within the Naperville Community.
2)The Pete Ellman Big Band, formed in 2009 after Pete retired from the Illinois Air National Guard after 20 years of service. The band has plays regularly at La Quinta de los Reyes in Aurora from 7:30 – 9PM. Each week they invite student jazz ensembles to join them and will provide guest clinicians. This is a way to get these budding musicians into a real world environment playing the music they love in addition to an auditorium in front of parents or classmates.
3)Little Friends, Inc, has been empowering children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, and their families, to live, learn, work and thrive in our community for over 50 years. Based in Naperville, Little Friends operates three schools, vocational training programs, community-based residential services and the Little Friends Center for Autism.
