*Saturday Extra* The update to state law that mandated Grand County change it’s form of government was not such an easy pill to swallow for some locals. The change sparked protests from community members and general confusion over the law’s interpretation. But since those early days of conflict, a diverse study committee came together and drafted a recommendation on a new form of government for voters’ approval. After tedious work to get it on the ballot this year, voters will now have to wait until 2020 to approve it. So, what happened exactly and where do we go from here?
