An industrial accident Saturday left two Moab area residents dead, and a third in critical condition. The incident occurred at the Intrepid potash mine, after workers touched a powerline with industrial equipment they were operating. KZMU News spoke with Grand County Emergency Medical Services Director Andy Smith about the emergency response. Smith says several first responders knew the victims personally, and noted that the tragedy has affected the whole community.
