The rain didn't stop local kids from experiencing science in action at the Moab Festival of Science's "STEMonstrations" event on Saturday. There, kids and adults experienced hands-on scientific activities, from building canyons with their hands, to feeding a salamander some crickets and making "elephant toothpaste." Organizers say the festival is all about celebrating and promoting the joys of scientific discovery.
