Community members gathered for Indigenous Celebration Day in Moab on October 8th. Events included a Native American hoop dance, music and fry bread, as well as plenty of information about regional indigenous people. Organizers and event participants said the day celebrates indigenous heritage, while also promoting native visibility in the local community.
