Description

Warming weather in Moab typically means increased visitation. For Mill Creek Canyon, that combination of sunny days with more tourism poses significant threats to its cultural and natural resources – as well as public safety. It’s not unusual for the parking lot to overflow, while hordes of visitors drag coolers and blast music down the trailhead. A collaborative group of city, county, public lands and nonprofit representatives are now looking for answers to mitigate impacts associated with increased recreation. They're creating a survey about Mill Creek Canyon and want to hear from community members. Tune in and learn more.
