Description

The public now has access to real-time tracking of wildlife migration across Utah via a new website. State biologists are monitoring many different animals, from elk and deer to birds, bats, and fish. They say pinpointing migration routes helps identify where habitat improvements are needed. And later in the news, an appeals court Judge says the US Forest Service should have considered alternative wildlife protections before it gave a permit to Colorado’s largest active coal mine.
