Since the Southeast Utah Health Department shuttered overnight lodging and camping to nonessential visitors, Grand County neighbors have been on the lookout for potential violations. We speak with Moab Area Travel Council Director Elaine Gizler about the lodging complaint process. And later, Grand County Council Administrator Chris Baird has been central to coordinating the local COVID-19 task force. We check in with him about the various projects he oversees, and what’s on his mind in the coming months ahead. Plus, our partners at the Mountain West News Bureau check in with some seniors to see what we might be able to learn from those who have faced world wars, economic recessions, and other pandemics.
