Utah will embark upon a new redistricting process after the 2020 Census, and the League of Women Voters is hoping citizens pay attention and get involved. League members held a meeting last night to update locals on the latest with redistricting, which has remained controversial after state lawmakers tweaked accountability provisions in a citizen-backed initiative. League members say they want to ensure Utah’s districts are drawn impartially so people choose their politicians, not the reverse.
