If approved by the U.S. Department of Transportation, SkyWest Airlines could begin offering flights from Moab to Salt Lake City in addition to their current Moab-Denver route. Grand County is petitioning DOT to allow this change, which Moab’s airport director expects will have long-term success. Plus, a $6,000 reward is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in recent downtown art vandalism incidents. And, the Moab Community Recycle Center launches a voluntary sponsorship program for residential and commercial customers.
