Attempting to address housing insecurity has been a top issue in Grand County for years, where limited housing stock and low wages make finding a safe and affordable place to live difficult. Now a struggling budget hotel in Cortez, Colorado has become the latest flashpoint in the Four Corners’ housing affordability crisis.
