Description

It’s wintertime, and this is local Eric Trenbeath’s season. For the past decade, he’s spent his winters all over the La Sal and Abajo Mountain ranges, examining conditions as the regional forecaster. And he’s witnessed Moab’s growing interest in winter sports. For a town not really known for them - it’s notable. “It’s quite a unique desert winter community,” he says. Today on the news, we check in with forecaster Trenbeath about the upcoming winter recreation season.
