She's Beautiful, by Pok the Bard.
Album: Anthology
SHE’S BEAUTIFUL
Well she’s walking with a sultry air
Golden feather stuck in her hair
Oh me oh my with her wake going by
It occurred to me that I might fly
And these things going on inside my brain
Won’t stop they only refrain
Only refrain
Only refrain
See the world open before you
It may even appal you
Step back before you fall you
Cos you got a road to travel
A road to travel
A road, yeah
I said she’s beautiful
Wanna make her mine
I said she’s beautiful
And she’s blowing my mind
See the world open before you
It may even appal you
Step back before you fall you
Cos you got a road to travel
A road to travel
A road, yeah
I said she’s beautiful
Want to make her mine
I said she’s beautiful
And she’s blowing my mind
Magnet thighs and peacocks' eyes
Devil in an angel’s disguise
My body's in a frozen sweat
I don't think that she's seen me yet
She's chili hot and full of lust
A case of look but don’t touch
Look but don’t touch
Look but don’t touch
See the world open before you
It may even appal you
Step back before you fall you
Cos you got a road to travel
A road to travel
A road
Yeah you got a road
I said she’s beautiful
Wanna make her mine
I said she’s beautiful
And she’s blowing my mind

Fun Facts:
She's Beautiful is one of Pok's oldest songs.
He composed it when he was still at school.
It was inspired by seeing a girl he knew and admired whilst waiting for a bus at exeter bus station.
The earliest versions go all the way back to Now in 1982.
The tempo varies between 66 and 122 BPM the key is A major.
The rhythm guitar parts are both played using Marsha, which had new strings.
The Ice Maiden, which Fedax would have played, was in need of attention on the day.
Pok is on the right channel and Fedax the left.
Pok's lead guitar is played on Nicodemus.
Fedax takes an eight-bar solo on the Ice Maiden, based on his little solo in the Cander version.
This particular version of She's Beautiful is based upon the Laughing Sun version from Cander, which is regarded as the definitive version.
The Cander version is here: https://wudrecords.bandcamp.com/track/shes-beautiful
She's Beautiful was a song in the works for Alchemeon's set, but never made it to a recording before they disbanded.
