THE UG SONG
Ug! Ug! Ug!
Ug! Ug! Ug!
Ug! Ug! Ug!
Ug! Ug! Ug!
Ug! Ug! Ug!

Fun Facts:
This was The Ug Brothers’ sing-along song, or as they preferred to call it, their grunt-along song.
It was usually used to close their set, and the nature of the song would often leave the crowd shouting “Ug! Ug! Ug!” after they had finished playing it, so they would usually return to the stage for more.
Most of this song is just E and F, although there is a section that Dave created where the string section of the band tried to spell ‘Ug’ on their instruments by playing G and then making a U shape of sorts by playing F-E-F.
Unfortunately this way round it actually spells “gu”, so please feel free to email us concerning musicians and their literacy levels.
This is a fairly early recording of the song as the guitar melody evolved further during the lifespan of the band.
