Description

I first heard this song on the impeccable "Madness, Money & Music" album by Sheena Easton in 1982 and fell head over heels in love with it. I NEVER though t I'd have a chance to sing it. I stumbled across a track to it a few years ago and this particular recording was done at home in June of 2015. I was a little under the weather which is heard in some of the raspiness, but it still turned out on the fair side. It's a great song, and while the verses are in the original keys of the tune, I did drop the choruses down an octave to stay in my normal range. You must hear Sheena's original version; it's stunning and especially her belt on the last note. I plan to share this with her.
