With the newer mixing tools and what I've learned through school, as part of the ongoing project of Worth The Wait, I'll be able to present "before & after" tracks, showing what I'm learning and progressing at. I took the instrumental of No, Father and reworked it. There's only 6 tracks here, but I love how it came together. You can hear the effect I'd laid in now where you could not before, and there's much tighter compression on the drums and bass. The song keeps growing as I'm toying with this evil little "chamber-music" style string part that has been playing in my head ever since the song came out 2 years ago. When I lay the vocals back in and remix them, I just might add the string part.
