This is an album cut off a Carpenters album from the 70's called 'A Kind of Hush" that was the beginning of their commercial decline, and is definitely on their sweeter side, but I love the sentiment of the song and especially the line "You are one of the few things worth remembering", both in lyric and chord arrangement/structure.
It also seemed the perfect song to give my partner of nearly 19 years who holds me together every day, listens to me, and cheers me on in his own way. There's so much excitement going on in life right now I have to remember to tell him so...for his 50th, this is just "You".
