"The Blue" exposes an artistic edge Laura Mae has always had, yet within the boundaries of Americana has not discovered. Produced in Nashville with Aaron Goodrich (Colter Wall, Nikki Lane) they formed this composition together with intentions to create outside of a genre, exploring new territory with sultry results. With a voice that is powerful, haunting and uniquely her own, lately Laura Mae has been experimenting with writing songs that don’t include the acoustic guitar she has relied on.
