Episode #013 - Please welcome Medal of Honor Recipient Special Agent Ronald J Shurer II. SA Shurer is a current member of the Secret Service Counter Assault Team (CAT) and is a former United States Army Special Forces Staff Sergeant and Medic. As a senior medical sergeant during the Battle of Shok Valley in April 2008, he and his team were attacked by an enemy force of more than 200 fighters. Shurer fought more than an hour to reach parts of his unit. He was awarded the Silver Star for his actions. On October 1, 2018, he was upgraded and awarded the Medal of Honor from President Donald Trump at a ceremony in the White House for his courageous and brave efforts helping to save the lives of his team.
