It was a very special day at Athens Intermediate School in Athens, Alabama, as AIS 5th grader, Brooks Givens, was awarded "Announcer of the Year" by the Athens Recreation Department. Brooks has been calling baseball games for the 11 and 12 year olds and has done a great job this season. Athens Rec Supervisor Chad Vining wanted to recognize Brooks and his ability in the press box with this special award.
