On February 18th, 2016, then 21-year-old Jerica Frazier was in a vehicle accident that nearly took her life. Her dad, who was a volunteer firefighter, pulled up on the scene to find that it was his daughter fighting for her life. Jerica survived, but doctors thought both of her legs would need to be amputated. After re-evaluating the situation, the medical team was able to save Jerica’s right leg.
