Sheffield Police Sgt. Nick Risner, “Uncle Nick” as some called him, had a heart for young people. Tonight, I was talking with a couple of foster parents who shared about “Uncle Nick” mentoring their kids. As I think about this, I also think about 9-year-old Jaylinn Owens in Rogersville, Alabama, who also has a heart for foster kids.
