On this Make A Difference Minute, I'm sharing a fundraiser organized by Cassie Humber for Tommy & Yancy Roper. Tommy Jones, was one of the people who resided on the dock and lost all of his belongings. His brother, Yancy, also lived on the dock and, sadly, lost his life due to the fire. The following is from Cassie:
We have started a GoFundMe to help him with the tremendous financial burdens he is facing right now. His brother did not have life insurance, so our friend is facing a double whammy of trying to rebuild his life from the ashes and paying for his brothers final expenses.
