Yesterday, Adam Smith took his life. As I thought about this, I thought about what I was doing yesterday. Yesterday was a dark day for Adam. I know what that dark day feels like. Adam’s family and friends now have to move forward with the loss of their loved one. Tonight, I spoke with Adam’s sister, Heather, and she recalled Adam loving the outdoors; fishing, hunting, just enjoying nature. She said he loved to make people laugh. Some might say he was “goofy.” Even though Heather and Adam got into it, as brothers and sisters often do, they loved each other very much. Thanks to Deanna Borden & Holly Douglas bringing Adam to my attention, I will have Heather on the show tonight. We are going to help this family as much as we can. There is currently a fundraiser underway to help with funeral expenses. You can help through GoFundMe by searching “Funeral for Adam Smith” or you can donate directly to Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, Alabama. Right now, we extend our deepest condolences to Adam’s family & friends. Tonight’s show is dedicated to Adam Smith.
