Growing up in South Africa, Sue Phillips loved theatre and, ultimately, love of theatre took her to New York City. While still hoping for work in the theatre, someone suggested that she go into the cosmetics/cosmetics training field because of her ability to stand in front of audiences and speak. Taking that path, Sue would become the national training director for Elizabeth Arden where she learned about fragrance. Six years later, Lancôme hired Sue as marketing director for fragrance and men’s skincare. From there, she was hired by Tiffany & Co. as the vice president of marketing where she developed and launched the first Tiffany perfume! With Sue’s fragrance experience, she launched her own fragrance company called, “Scenterprises” and authored “The Power of Perfume.”
I recently found out about Sue and her work, even helping individuals who lost their sense of smell, on Dr. Ward Bond’s program. I asked Sue if she would join me to share her effort as well as her work with those trying to regain their sense of smell and her passion for those living with Alzheimer’s and Sue is joining me tonight!
