Jeremy Devaney joined Fairway Independent Mortgage in October 2017 having 2.5 years of prior mortgage lending experience. Before entering the mortgage business in 2015, Jeremy spent more than a decade in investment banking and consulting. Previously specializing in investment research and private equity buyouts in the Defense industry, Jeremy has advised on more than $3B in closed transactions. During that time, Devaney was a re-occurring defense industry expert commentator appearing on shows including CNBC, Fox Business News and Bloomberg Radio. He's also been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, National Defense Magazine, and the Associated Press. Jeremy's expertise in analyzing investments and demystifying complex financial transactions provides him the perfect skill set to help everyone from families buying their first home to sophisticated real estate investors. Jeremy currently resides in Marshfield, MA with his wife Allison, and their sons, Graham & Hunter. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing, and hitting the beach. Jeremy also spends time reinvesting in his community, serving as Vice President and board member of the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce as well as sitting on the board of directors for the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless.
