Description

A new campaign to put a submission together to help inform the Northern Territory's Government Strategic Water Plan has been launched yesterday.
Called 'Talking Water - Kwatye Ankerne' the campaign will look to start a conversation for a more secure water future for Mbantwe.
Facilitated by the Desert Knowledge Research Institute and working with several local organisations, including the Central Land Council and Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation, a number of events will happen in upcoming weeks including a seminar looking at First Nations people's connection to water.
CEO of Desert Knowledge Australia John Huigan says First Nations people will be integral to the submissions for the strategic water plan.
He spoke to CAAMA’s Philippe Perez.
