On today’s program:
• Traditional owners off the west Kimberley coast have designed a 10-year plan to preserve and protect their land and sea country with consists of hundreds of islands interconnecting seas and reefs. I recently spoke with one of the traditional owners who discusses the plan.
• Australia’s first ophthalmologist Dr Kristopher Rallah-Baker is a founding member of the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association. Dr Rallah baker will be sharing his thoughts on why the decolonisation of Australia continues to be important in addressing the health of the First Nations peoples.
• We are going to be hearing a wire report about the book Me Too, which includes a section which looks at how Indigenous peoples have been impacted.
