-A new cultural centre to help strengthen and support local Aboriginal families will be built on central Arrernte country following a 5 million dollar grant from the NT Labor government.
-Over the years IndigenousX has used the digital platform to challenge stereotypes of Aboriginal communities, share stories, and offer a unique and engaging perspective in a space where Indigenous voices often remain unheard. Gamilaroi man Luke Pearson founded IndigenousX in 2012. He chats with CAAMA.
-When it comes to Literacy First Nations children are still falling far behind non-indigenous children. That is why the Indigenous Literary Foundation a national book industry charity which aims to reduce the disadvantage experienced by children in remote Aboriginal Communities Across Australia and lift the Literacy levels for these communities. One of the ways in which they are making a difference is through the Indigenous Literary Foundation Ambassadors program
