- Discussions are taking place in Hobart in Tasmania about the possibility of changes the names of public places to recognise and honour Aboriginal people.
- Gambling is a issue impacting many first nations peoples. To discuss the topic of indigenous gambling, Ashley Gordon who has a deep understanding of problem gambling focusing on community education and program design speaks with CAAMA Radio this morning.
- Alwyn Doolan is a Gooreng Gooreng Wakka Wakka man who walked more than 8000km from Cape York to Parliament House in Canberra. During his journey Mr Doolan spoke with Indigenous communities along the way, hearing what their concerns they would resolved which were written on a message stick. The message stick contained the voices of more than 50 Aboriginal nations and aims to progress reconciliation.
