Description

"Player Characters" is a long-form discussion with people about a topic related to gaming. The discussions are a free-form podcast that highlight areas of knowledge each guest has.

For Episode 1 I sit down with Jordan Lee Thompson and discuss minority representation in Dungeons and Dragons specifically and generally within the tabletop community.

Jordan Lee Thompson is an art worker and educator who's been preferencing science fiction over high fantasy for over 20 years. Jordan has spent his career making media, crafting performances, and teaching teenagers how to make and talk about short films, documentaries, and animations. Jordan holds a BFA in Painting, a BA in Art History and Arts Management, and a certificate in Museum Studies, and is currently coordinating the Twin Cities Arab Film Festival and working with youth to use science and technology to dismantle systems of oppression in their own communities.
