Growing up in Southern California certainly left its mark on me. What can I say? It ain't nuthin' but a g thang, baaaaby. Although this track turned out to be a nod to G-Funk it wasn't supposed to be the case from the start. This track was originally supposed to be 135 BPM Electro jam but when I was trying to record the bassline I slowed it down the BPM to 100 and it just got more and more gangster from there so I left it. The song title was taken from a track by 'The Dogg Pound' called 'Respect' in which Dr. Dre says: "Beatin up on your eardrums with some of that G Funk. Some of that gangsta funk. Some of that ghetto funk. Call it what you want, just don't forget the G"
Mother fucking DVS NME in the house.
