This is the second DVS NME track with the Oberheim OB-6 that I picked up over the weekend. The machine is so damn inspiring that a song fell out of my brain over the course of a few hours today. I've not even had a chance to get though all the presets on the device because at every turn I want to make a new track! Anyway, this one is a 125 bpm nod to my deceased friend Marcus. It has been almost 3 years since we lost him and I'm proud to pay tribute to him whenever the mood strikes me. Mostly it is when I use the MFB-522 drum machine. He loved when I took inspiration from his sound and made tracks in the 'Horror Electro' vein. We had so much stuff in the works that will never see the light of day sadly, but those unfinished collaborations certainly won't stop me from continuing to express myself with the sound he so brilliantly mastered. This track is called 'Rot Economy'.
