For this @DarkScienceElectro premiere we visit German producer @Das-Muster via @tmlssmvmnt. 2 hours north of Hamburg, Germany there is a small town called Flensburg and it is the home of one of Electro music's best kept secrets.
@Das-Muster is the alter ego of Marcus Mumm, who has been actively releasing music under this moniker since 2011. His purely analog sound is instantly recognizable for it's rich, warm, clean use of instruments like the MFB Microzwerg, MFB 522, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Roland JX3P and many others. For this release he stays the course with his Dopplereffekt-inspired sound and presents a brand new vinyl release from mysterious newcomer label 'Timeless Movement' (@tmlssmvmnt). The track selected by @DarkScienceElectro is a great example of the horror-esque sound that Marcus has been producing either as @Das-Muster or as his rarely explored 'Mumm' side-project. The song features a brooding bass line, anxiety-inducing arpeggios and his signature beat production that fans have grown to love and expect.
