The next @DarkScienceElectro premiere is a relatively unknown artist that calls himself @IXRQ releasing with @SEQRUN -
IXRQ debuted with a self-released 7’’ lathe cut record which was later followed up by a recent appearance on a Stilleben 12-inch compilation release.
Made on a range of old and newer gear (Nord Micro Modular, Waldorf Pulse Plus & Elektron MD to name a few) IXRQ talks about the influence of hardware in the sound of Electro music, and his growing obsession with various filter IC’s such as the SSM & CEM chips that are typically found in earlier Oberheim and Korg synths.
The new record is now available for pre-order as of Friday 23rd August, and releases/ships on the 6th of September via www.seqrun.com.
