For this premiere we look to an old German colleague of mine, @Thomas-Kress, where we will be checking out his track from an upcoming VA comp on Robotmachine Records.
'Robotmachine Records' was founded in 2010 by Dynamik Bass System and has since released 17 offerings ranging from . The label's goal is to expose new talents within the Electro and Technobass music scene. The label finds a great balance between retro and future. With this release we look at the 'Elektro Süd Project' which is a series started by south German Electro producers Dynamik Bass System, Supremeja, Thomas Kress, and TecRoc. This project is also meant for the support of German-specific artists.
The track selected to premiere for @DarkScienceElectro is called 'Show Me'. Thomas Kress is a musician, producer and designer from Munich and has been producing music since the mid 90's with releases on Tropical Underground and Robotmachine Records. He uses a hardware approach to production with Digitone/Rev2 for FM synthesis and sound effects as well as Model D and Moog Mother-32 for bass sounds. The track itself was performed live and captured in Logic Pro.
